About us
Who you're dealing with
So Clean Co has been cleaning homes and commercial premises across Belfast and the surrounding areas for over ten years.
The work splits two ways. Inside, it’s specialist cleaning — carpets and upholstery, wooden and vinyl floors, tile and grout, including grout that needs restoring rather than cleaning. Outside, it’s washing down render, brickwork and cladding, clearing roofs and gutters, and bringing driveways and patios back.
It’s the same trade either way: knowing what a surface will take, and getting the dirt out without damaging what’s underneath.

Which areas do you cover?
Belfast and the surrounding areas. If you're just outside and not sure whether you're in range, ask — it's usually a yes, and it costs nothing to check.
Do you work on commercial premises as well as homes?
Both, and both are core work rather than a sideline. Shopfronts, offices, communal stairwells and forecourts get the same treatment as a living room carpet or a domestic driveway.
How long do carpets take to dry?
It depends on the pile, how soiled it was and how well the room ventilates. Most rooms are walkable soon after and fully dry the same day if you can keep air moving through them. We'll tell you what to expect before we start.
Do you move furniture?
We'll move what can be moved safely between us. Anything heavy, fragile or built in is best cleared or emptied beforehand — tell us what's in the room when you enquire and we'll agree it in advance.
Is pressure washing safe for render, roof tiles and paving?
Only at a pressure the surface can take, which is not the same pressure for all of them. Render, slate, block paving and timber each behave differently, and the method gets matched to the surface rather than the other way round.
What's the difference between grout cleaning and grout restoration?
Cleaning is maintenance — the grout is sound and the colour comes back. Restoration is remedial, for grout that's cracked, missing or stained beyond cleaning: it gets repaired and made good instead of the whole floor being taken up.

How often should this sort of cleaning be done?
Carpets and upholstery in a busy house tend to want doing once a year; a quiet room goes much longer. Outside, it's driven by aspect and shade — north-facing roofs and paving pick up moss far faster than sunlit ones.
